Sony Ericsson’s new Xperia minis

The Japanese manufacturer Sony Ericsson has overhauled its Sony vgp-bps9/b. The Xperia minis are now back with Android 3.2 up-to-date.

As with its predecessors, there are again two versions of the minis, with a per-variant. Differences are in price, a mechanical keyboard and a full front camera that with a Olympus li-50b specifically for Skype. As mentioned above, the little potter about with the latest version of Android-Ginger Bread. In addition, Sony Ericsson delivers with its own interface, which allows one, for example, the occupancy of apps on the corners.

The display has been increased to 3 inches, and maps with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. This unfortunately caused a small increase in housing that’s the main selling factor. Tuned is the Xperia mini / mini pro with a 1-GHz CPU and a 5-megapixel camera, which allows for the inclusion of 720p video. The often criticized battery life should be balanced by a slightly larger battery. Similarly, support the minis all the standards such as GPS, Nikone D3100 battery, WLAN, Bluetooth, HSDPA reception and FM radio. Moreover, also the very good music player software in the Xperia mini course. Facebook and Twitter clients, such as multi-touch is also well on board.

Sony Ericsson Xperia is the mini / mini pro in the third quarter of 2011 published in Germany. Price, the manufacturer’s instructions amounted to 240 € for the normal version and 270 € at the mini pro. Thus, the new phones more than 100 € less than the starting price of the Jvc bn-v907u.

A 3 inch display is in any case in the right direction. I would personally still a bit too small for mobile surfing. On the other hand, a Nikone EN-EL14 design is not bad. Biggest disappointment was with the predecessor to the institution of Android-update mechanism by Sony. Hopefully get the last out time, update their products correctly. Because the predecessor probably find no Android Ginger Bread Update.
